Make a Splash

With miles upon miles of beaches lining the beautiful blues and greens of the Gulf of Mexico, you might not even think about the other ways you can make a splash while visiting Gulf Shores & Orange Beach.

Most every condo and hotel offer a pool, and some have water features so cool, you’ll feel like you are at a water park! Turquoise Place has two outdoor pools, a lazy river, a large indoor pool and every unit has its own hot tub on its balcony. Caribe Resort offers fantastic, multi-level pools complete with slides and a lazy river. Phoenix on the Bay and Phoenix West also offer several slides, pools and a lazy river.  When you vacation in Gulf Shores & Orange Beach, there is no shortage of lodging options offering unique pools that will please just about every member of your group.

Do you want a little more adventure? Waterville USA is a 20-acre water park loaded with fun for the entire family!  From the tiniest tots to bravest of all, there is something for everyone. The wave pool is huge and can be enjoyed with or without floats.  Among the many water slides are two raft rides that can be used with rafts made for one, two or even three people!  Little ones can enjoy a spacious children’s area with miniature tube slides, platforms and lots of interactive fun. In addition to all of this, there is a lazy river for those who would rather float along at their own pace.

If water parks aren’t your thing, there are other ways you can cool off when you’re not at the beach. The Track in Gulf Shores offers several go-kart tracks, amusement rides, arcades and Blaster Boats. The water bumper boats are a fun way to battle your friends and family with water blaster guns for a little smash and splash! If a trip to Tanger Outlets is on your vacation itinerary, then be sure and bring a towel. There’s a great play area and splash pad that is sure to keep you cool (and revive you if you shop till you drop).
