Pete Blalock at Blalock Seafood
Coastal Character
Pete Blalock has lived in Orange Beach for almost 60 years, moving down in 1964 after visiting the area as a child. Pete grew up enjoying crabbing, swimming, and skiing on the Alabama Gulf Coast.
Running Lauder's Landing on Cotton Bayou and an A&W root beer stand at the "T" in Gulf Shores early on, prepared Pete to work in retail. Pete Blalock now owns Blalock's Seafood & Speciality Market in Orange Beach and Gulf Shores serving everything from fresh fish and Alabama-caught shrimp to Gulf crab.
