Alabama natives love their barbecue, and here on the beach, locals pair this finger-licking cuisine with bushwackers. A favorite among both locals and visitors, Moe’s Original BBQ serves this creamy creation alongside its mouthwatering platters and soul sides. Made with various types of rum and liqueurs, vanilla ice cream, and chocolate syrup, Moe’s bushwackers are hard to resist.

Papa OSO

Papa OSO

The perfect blend of sweet, fruity, and fun, the Papa OSO is the cocktail locals enjoy while watching sunsets and listening to live music at OSO at Bear Point Harbor. This signature drink contains Bambu rum, Cruzan coconut rum, Cruzan banana rum, fresh squeezed lime juice, pineapple juice, and bordeaux cherry juice and is topped with gummy bears sitting in an inside out lime.

Locals like to get a little fancy sometimes on the beach, and when we do, we head to Jesse’s on the Bay. Situated on Mobile Bay, Jesse’s offers diners incredible panoramic views of the water thanks to its round dining room filled with windows. While you’re here, grab a seat at the gorgeous bar and order the rosemary martini, crafted with Absolut Citron, triple sec, cranberry rosemary, and a sugar rim.

Area 251 Hazy IPA

Area 251 Hazy IPA

Juicy and full of hops, the Area 251 Hazy IPA is the brew locals love the most at Big Beach Brewing Company. This hazy is a tropical-style IPA with light carbonation that goes down as smooth as a glass of OJ. If IPAs aren’t your thing, Big Beach typically boasts 12 beers on tap at all times as well as house wines.

Orange Beach Margarita

Orange Beach Margarita

If you’re searching for fantastic views, a chill atmosphere, and relaxing Gulf breezes, there’s no better place to go than Coastal. This beachfront restaurant serves incredible cuisine and refreshing cocktails in its outdoor beach bar and open-air restaurant. A local favorite is the Orange Beach margarita, made with José Cuervo, orange cream, house margarita mix, and an orange slice, lime slice, and salt on the rim.
