1. Flora-Bama
Flora-Bama is the premier spot for live music on the Gulf Coast. Visitors will find musicians at all three of its establishments. Rock out in the many rooms at the Lounge & Oyster Bar, dig your toes in the sand at Yacht Club, or chow down as you jam out at Ole River Grill. From country, rock, and blues to laid-back beach music, you'll find it all at Flora-Bama.
2. The Hangout
Unsurprisingly, The Hangout in Gulf Shores is a great place to catch live music, as it's home to the annual Hangout Music Festival. Local bands and singers also perform on the outdoor stage at The Hangout restaurant throughout the year, providing guests with great music to accompany their delicious meals.
3. GTs on the Bay
Nestled on Wolf Bay, GTs offers incredible views, coastal cuisine, and fabulous cocktails. While dining here, you'll hear some great local artists doling out tunes. It doesn't get better than sipping a refreshing cocktail, nibbling fresh seafood, and listening to live music by the water.
4. Lucy Buffett's LuLu's
Owned by Lucy Buffett (sister to Jimmy Buffett), LuLu's is known far and wide for its nightly lineup of musical entertainment in addition to its fantastic food. Its the perfect place for to enjoy a meal filled with fabulous tunes, incredible eats and drinks, and nonstop fun.
5. OSO
Grab a table or seat at the bar at OSO at Bear Point and listen to incredible local and traveling musicians on the weekends. The restaurant offers a unique menu with fresh Gulf seafood, tasty burgers and tacos, and delectable desserts. Order dinner or a cocktail and catch a sunset while enjoying live music at this locally beloved joint.
6. Tacky Jacks
Not only can you pull up a chair to listen to great local and regional artists at Tacky Jacks, but you can also take the stage yourself! When the karaoke bug bites, scratch the itch at Tacky Jacks in Gulf Shores, Orange Beach, or Fort Morgan. It's also customary to leave your mark via a colorful piece of duct tape at the Gulf Shores location. Ask your server for some tape and a Sharpie, so everyone will know you've been there!
7. Big Beach Brewing Company
Big Beach Brewing Company is Gulf Shores' only craft brewery. The atmosphere is laid-back, and you can feel yourself relaxing from the moment you walk in. Combine a chill atmosphere with a pint of cold craft beer, good friends, and live music; you've got the perfect night.
8. Sandshaker
Whether you want to sit back and listen to the tunes or sing a few ballads yourself, Sandshaker is the place to be while at The Wharf. This locals’ favorite bar has live music on Wednesdays, Fridays, and Saturdays and hosts karaoke every Tuesday and Thursday. You can even show off your own musical abilities on Mondays during open mic night.
9. Woodside
Imagine enjoying live music and delicious food in a serene outdoor setting surrounded by nature. At Woodside, you'll get all of this and more. The restaurant boasts fire pits, Adirondack chairs, yard games, and picnic tables near the stage, so you can chill out to some great tunes inside Gulf State Park.
10. Luna's
With over 30 craft beers on tap and a grassy courtyard, Luna's Eat & Drink in Orange Beach is the ultimate spot for a brew and live music. During the warmer months, local artists perform on the restaurant's relaxing back patio and offer dinner guests a side of tunes with their soulful meals.
11. Carver's Steakhouse
When the weather warms up, so does the music scene in Orange Beach. During the spring and summer months, you'll find live music at Carver's Steakhouse on Wednesday through Sunday evenings. Dig into mouth-watering steaks and ribs, or sip a glass of white as you enjoy the sounds of local musicians.
12. COASTAL
Kick off your shoes and soak up the sun as you listen to the sounds of local musicians at COASTAL Orange Beach. This waterfront restaurant and bar sits right on the Gulf and serves up delicious eats and drinks. 13. Icehouse Tap Room
Head over to Icehouse Tap Room for endless brews and bands. Situated on the lagoon, this local joint provides guests with fabulous sunsets on its deck. Icehouse offers 24 beers on tap as well as irresistible food. From sours and stouts to ales and porters, you’ll find the perfect pint to sip on as you jam out.
