Peninsula’s Marsh Hole No. 6
in Gulf Shores & Orange Beach
If you’re searching for rolling fairways surrounded by lush, natural landscaping, Peninsula Golf & Racquet Club is a must-experience championship golf course in Gulf Shores. Located on the Fort Morgan peninsula, you’ll find 27 holes of golf in three different courses – Marsh, Lakes, and Cypress. The courses are nestled next to the Bon Secour National Wildlife Refuge and meander through 800 acres of live oaks and cypress trees. You may even see some of the area’s local wildlife, including eagles, osprey, and alligators.

Whether you’re a beginner or a master, Peninsula offers an enjoyable experience for all skill levels. Make your Gulf Shores golf vacation a time to up your game and lower your score with a lesson from a golf pro. Lesson packages include 30-minute or 1-hour lessons. You can plan an entire vacation around lessons with a three- or five-lesson package, too! Take the pro along with you on a nine-hole playing lesson and put your education to work immediately.
Make a day of it with lunch at the Peninsula Golf Club, open seven days a week from 7:30am to 3pm. Feast on a variety of fresh salads and sandwiches, including a local’s favorite, the fresh grouper sandwich. Order it grilled, blackened, or fried and sink your teeth into one of the beach’s best fish.
When playing the Marsh’s hole number six, notice the distance to the waste area and wetlands through the fairway to the right. The split rail fence defines the out of bounds area. A fairway wood or long iron will leave you a mid-iron approach to a tiered green.
