1. Attend the Super Chili Bowl Cookoff
Super Bowl weekend is always one of the biggest events of the year, and this year it will be extra delicious. Bring your appetite to Flora-Bama Lounge and Oyster Bar on Saturday, February 8, for the Super Chili Bowl Cook-Off. For just $20, you’ll enjoy many chili concoctions as contestants compete for the best recipe.
2. Embark on the Gumbo Trail

Flora-Bama’s annual family-friendly I Pink I Can Run 4-Miler Breast Cancer Run takes place on Saturday, February 22, at the iconic lounge and bar. Participants can walk or run the four-mile course to raise money for breast cancer detection, advocacy, and support services.
5. Attend the Orange Beach Seafood Fest
If you love fresh Gulf seafood, you can’t miss the Annual Orange Beach Seafood Festival & Car Show at The Wharf on February 22. This fun festival features a day of delicious eats, live music, local vendors, and lots of kids’ activities. You’ll also have the chance to admire hot rods, antique and classic cars that line Main Street for the impressive car show.
6. Savor Fresh Oysters
Head down to the Beach Club Resort for the Annual Fort Morgan Oyster Fest on February 22-23, and get ready to slurp down fresh oysters! Enjoy oysters from multiple local farms prepared in several ways. Not an oyster fan? Festival food will also be available as well as beer and cocktails for those over 21. The music stage will have live music all day, and over 40 arts and crafts vendors will be on-site for you to browse. Don't forget to practice oyster shucking before you attend the festival, so you can enter the oyster chucking contest!
7. Go to the Next Level
If you’re looking for a thrilling activity during your stay, check out Arena The Next Level at The Wharf. This fun-filled spot features dozens of exciting arcade games, a 4,000 sq. ft. laser tag arena, and bazooka ball. It’s the perfect place for a family outing!
