"Seas the Day" Workshop with Kristin Pierre

Kick off the new year at the beach with fine artist Kristin Pierre as she takes you through the steps to paint a coastal landscape. Bring your own beach pics to choose from to create a wholly unique masterpiece to call your own. Kristin will walk you through the foundational steps of building a captivating composition, including texture, color theory and developing your own style. This class is for all abilities from beginner to advanced. Whether this class helps you fine-tune your skills or gives you something to try for the first time, it will be fun, so bring a friend and make memories while you make art!

Supplies needed: The instructor will provide an 8x10 canvas, but you may bring a larger canvas if you prefer. Please bring any paint (oil or acrylic--your choice!) you may have that works with beach and sky (cobalt blue, titanium white, sap green, Naples yellow, purple, raw or burnt sienna, for example) and a basic starter pack of brushes. Feel free to share with friends/family if they take the class with you!
