To commemorate the 158th anniversary of the Battle of Fort Blakeley, Historic Blakeley State Park will host a special day of living history and educational programming on Saturday, April 1, capped off by one of the largest reenactments of the battle in several years!
(If you are booking one of our Civil War cruises during the event, the cruise includes general admission to the reenactment.)
12:45-1:45 pm - Display of sword of Cpt. John Lewis Kinney, 50th USCT, used during the battle
2:00-2:45 pm - Artillery Demonstration at Redoubt 4
3:15 pm - Reenactment of the Assault on Fort Blakeley
4:00 pm - Stack Arms
Admission:
$10 adults, $5 kids ages 6-12, kids under 6 are free. Veterans $5. Pay at gate
