Giraffe Premium Experience at the Zoo!

Go behind the scenes for a 45-minute experience to learn about Giraffes Benjamin and Akayla, along with their friends ostrich Netty, Poppy, and Clover. Watch and learn how the giraffes are shifted in for their evening feedings, receive an exclusive tour of the giraffe barn, and help prepare and feed diets. General admission to the zoo is included. 

The experience includes:

40-45-minute adventure with the Alabama Gulf Coast Zoo Giraffes Benjamin and Akayla and their ostrich friends Netty, Poppy, and Clover.
Learn about the Giraffes as well as their wild relatives
Watch and learn how the Giraffe are shifted in for afternoon feedings
Visit behind the scenes in the Giraffe barn
Help staff and volunteers feed the Giraffe their afternoon diets and get up close and personal to these incredible animals.
General admission to the zoo included (the zoo will close at 4 pm so please plan to visit the entirety of the zoo before your experience).

The Experience is limited to:

4 people per group
All ages welcome
All children 10 and under must be accompanied by an adult.

Each experience must be booked 48 hours in advance.
