Labor Day Weekend Party

Kick off fall with us at the Labor Day Weekend Party from August 30 through September 1! Start the weekend on Friday, August 31st, with free kids’ activities, photo ops with stilt walkers, and popsicles in Downtown OWA. At 4:30 pm, enjoy a dive-in movie at Big Water Bay on the big screen in Tropic Falls.*

Returning for its sixth year, the OWA Labor Day Car Show is back on Saturday, August 31! During this picturesque fall event, cars of all makes and models will be on display throughout the charming streets of Downtown OWA. With hot rods and custom builds from all decades lining the streets, this car show is bound to have something that catches your eye! Check out the details here: link to car show landing page.

Stick around after the Car Show on Saturday, September 1st, for lawn games and a free live outdoor concert! Join us on OWA Island for live music from Jenna McClelland at 5:30 p.m. and Brandon Giles at 7:30 p.m. PLUS, round off the night with an epic fireworks show at 8:50 p.m., synchronized with patriotic music playing throughout the property. The fireworks will go off at 8:50 p.m. sharp and can be seen in the air over Downtown OWA and Tropic Falls.

On Sunday, we won't be slowing down the fun! There will be kid activities at Tropic Falls and complimentary red, white, and blue popsicles at the Native Treasures Alcove. More live music will follow, starting at 4:30 p.m. with Duhe and Daboys. Closing out the night, the Tobacco Rd band will perform a live blend of country-rock at 6 p.m. So, grab a cozy flannel, enjoy the fall weather, and catch them both at the Island Stage!

*Tropic Falls admission ticket or pass is required for the Dive-In movie night and activities behind the gates.

• 2:00 pm – 6:00 pm: Red, White, and Blue Popsicles (One per person, while supplies last.)
• 4:00 pm – 7:00 pm: Patriotic Stilt Walkers roaming for guest photos
• 4:00 pm – 6:00 pm: Dive-In movie night at Big Water Bag – Remember the Titans (2000 | PG)*

Saturday, August 31st

• 9:00 am – 4:00 pm: First Baptist Church Labor Car Show in Downtown OWA– Check it out here!
• Noon – 6:00 pm: Tuki Appearances intermittently in Downtown OWA & Tropic Falls
• 3:00 pm – 8:50 pm: Lawn Games on the Island
• 5:30 pm – 7:00 pm: Free Live Music on the Island from Jenna McClelland
