Earth Day Expedition

Join our educators on an outdoor guided hike to celebrate Earth Day! See the amazing flora and fauna that call Gulf State Park home, and enjoy an incredible view of our beautiful Lake Shelby.

Bring binoculars if you have them and water to stay hydrated! We will hike for approximately 2 hours, covering 1.5 miles of paved trails. These trails are accessible for all ability types, and some wooden boardwalks will be present. With over 28 miles of trails and 9 unique ecosystems to explore, Gulf State Park always offers something exciting to see! All ages are welcome.

Please arrive early to use the restroom and fill up water bottles. We will be leaving at 2:00 pm sharp.
