We loved staying at the...
We loved staying at the condo. After a day of fun in the sun on the beach, we enjoyed relaxing in the comfy couch and chairs, cooking meals in a well stocked kitchen and spending time on the deck with amazing views of the beach. The bathroom was very clean and well stocked with lots of towels.
Breathtaking views! Location has bellhop...
Breathtaking views! Location has bellhop carts for luggage and shopping carts for groceries, which was an added bonus! Elevators are quick. Quiet and peaceful location. Little noise from upstairs neighbor. Kitchenware fully stocked. Amenities from the Phoenix bldg 1-4 is fantastic!! Communal area of 1-4 (Pools/gym/bathrooms/lounge areas) always clean. Orange beach cleanest area/town. Nearby parks, beaches, trail system, etc well kept and easily accessible. 28 miles of walking/biking trails nearby. Limited restaurants/local adventures within walking distance. Vehicle required. Basic household/beach items required for longer stays. (Salt/pepper, dishwasher/dish detergent, toilet paper, laundry items, any beach supplies, cards etc)
Recommend- Pier house restaurant, Woodside Restaurant, Gulf Island grill, ebike of Orange beach, and Fort Morgan.
Only negative for the area - public transportation. No trolly system or boardwalk/sidewalks thru town. Walk/bike side of road.
I will start with the...
I will start with the good. The place had a cozy feeling, decorated nicely, the view from the balcony was amazing. Amenities were great. The host was super communicative and very flexible with check in. They texted the day before check in and day before check out. Overall a nice place to stay. It’s close to all the restaurants and the beach is right there.
The not so great. There were ropes obstructing our balcony view, the condo was under construction. We weren’t warned ahead of time. We heard loud construction every day except Sunday from 8 am to 5 pm. It was so loud we could not be in the condo during the day. It drove me insane. You could hear it from the beach which made it less relaxing. The night we got there I noticed the bed frame was covered in dust. Our feet were black from the floors, so I don’t think it was cleaned good enough. Things needed replaced that were broken. Unable to use dishwasher. No seasoning in kitchen. No dish soap. Bed was hard and had a dip in middle.
