Great Mini-Vacation!
The condo was very nice and updated with a great view (as the pictures show). Please read the reporting instructions before your arrival. I could have benefited from that in two ways: One, in knowing that I'd have to take a ferry to get to the final destination unless I intentionally took the alternate route. The other information I overlooked was that only one car was allowed. Any additional cars required me to buy a parking pass which cost $25 a piece. Also, we enjoyed the area because there were not many other vacationers. Probably because of the time of the year we came, but I would also consider this area much more quiet than being in the heart of Gulf Shores. The private beach access was nice! I definitely see us coming back to stay in this condo.
Beautiful Unit, Great Property!
Very nicely decorated unit. The kids' room even had a basket of books and some toys for the kids. The king bed in the first bedroom was SO comfortable (I'm only commenting on that one because that's the only one I slept on). This was our second year back at Indies, we love it there! Last year my husband and I went alone, and this year we took our 3 and 6 year old kids (who loved the bunk beds). Either way, with or without kids, it is the most relaxing vacation.
Last year we went the first week of May, and this year we arrived the weekend of Memorial Day, and it was MUCH busier this year. We didn't mind, but it you want a more secluded stay, go earlier in May (still just as beautiful weather-wise)! We will likely return again next year!

We had another perfect vacation with sunset properties, we were able to relax with breath taking views of the gulf and the kids even managed to swim in the heated pool and the gulf for a short time. We fished at the state park pier saw Several dolphins and the Pelicans really liked to say hi. Can't wait to go bac again next year!
