My mom, sister and I came down for a quick 4th of July weekend. We’ve stayed on this property multiple times a year for 12 years, but this was our first time in this unit or with Sunset. Everything was excellent! The unit was clean, well stocked and just as advertised. We will return!

We have a great time at Gulf Shores Plantation. When we arrived our unit had not been cleaned, but the property management company was excellent to work with and was able to get housekeeping out quickly. We will be back!!

Good communication with sunset before and during our stay. Very clean and cozy. Condo was stocked with all kitchen necessities. My favorite part was that there was beach/pool toys, floats, chairs and even a wagon for us to use. It all came in handy. Overall, we had a great and comfortable stay.

Nothing fancy, but EVERYTHING you need, clean, good closets (no washing machine/dryer in room). One major gripe: no sports channels on TV!

The condo functioned well and served its purpose for us. My only complaint was the poor cleaning job ahead of our arrival. When I contacted the property manager after the fact about the cleanliness, they said that we should have let them know soon after arrival. We didn't arrive until 11pm and we were out the door at 6:30 the next morning.

My recommendation for anyone staying here in the future is to check for cleanliness upon arrival and contact the property manager if it isn't clean even if it's after midnight.

We were at the property and other guests walked in using the code at 9:00/9:30pm. What was the most disturbing, she gave the code she used and it wa exact same as ours! The house was clean but smelt like mildew. The bed linens were dirty and had stains. There was a live cockroach in the property found during a run to check on the kids after the strangers had let themselves in. The furniture is stained and the rugs were damp. There are light switches in the rooms but they do not work, as the only lighting in the bedrooms are lamps. Electrical outlet in master bedroom had no covers and there were extension cords in rooms to plug things in. There was a pool at the property next door but none on site. The tv in the bunk bedroom did not work and when we called it was too late for maintenance so we had no tv for the kids to watch. I sure wish adding pictures was an option, since I have quite a few to share! NEVER AGAIN will I stay at this property or recommend for anyone else to do so!
