Snowbird Events

Each year, Alabama's Gulf Coast plays host to our winter visitors, affectionately known as "snowbirds." Our snowbirds are hardly retiring - they stay busy with various activities like state snowbird club meetings and activities, fishing tournaments, fundraisers, day trips, golfing and volunteering. 

Of course, lazy days still have their appeal. It's all up to you how you spend your time on Alabama’s beaches.

The winter months offer all types of entertainment, from symphonies to theatre and Jazz to Dixieland. Festivals, parades, art exhibits and live local music are aplenty on the Alabama Gulf Coast.
