Fort Mims Historic Site

The Fort Mims historic site offers an amazing educational experience about its significant role in the history of Alabama and our nation. The site commemorates the lives of those lost 200 years ago during the Creek Indian war. The annual commemoration and living history weekend is held the last weekend in August. Tour of the Northern Delta’ offered again this year, booked and provided by Blakeley Historic Site in conjunction with the Ft Mims Restoration Association.
